WORLD BOOK DAY MAGIC!

The staff and pupils at Starcross primary School had a fantastic day today, celebrating World Book Day and their love of reading.
Not only did the staff and children dress up as their favourite book characters, but there was also a competition to find THING1 and THING2 (from the Dr. Seuss books), which the children found lots of fun.
As if that wasn’t enough, there were lots of books for sale at break time as well at knockdown prices, and as usual, the children received their £1 book vouchers to put towards books of their choice.
I’m sure you’ll agree that everyone made a great effort, and many thanks to all parents and carers for the huge effort in sending their children in costume.
Well done, and happy reading!
