We are delighted to announce that the lovely tradition of partnership with the Starcross Twinning Association is continuing this year, with their annual pancake festival being held on Wednesday, 18th March 2015.

As well as the usual Breton dancing and music during the school day, the children (and parents) will be delighted to hear that the delicious crepes will be on sale once more for the usual price of 50p, and it is anticipated that this will include the same fillings as before.

In the evening, the festival will continue, with the usual music and wonderful food available to all paying participants.

This event has been happening for some years now, and the links between our schools here and in Henvic have been growing, too, with videos being exchanged so that the children can practice their French and English respectively. It’s lovely to see the relationship grow between the community and our Breton friends.

I hope that as many community members will turn out once more to enjoy the festival. If you are interested, then please contact Kate Manley-Tucker on 01626 890718 if you would like any tickets. they are going quickly though!

Please see the attached flyer for the school festivities.
