Starcross pupils enjoy a ‘taste’ of France

Posted on

Year 5 pupils from Starcross Primary School have been visiting Dawlish Community College over the last half a term for additional French lessons. As part of a whole programme of primary in-reach across a number of subject areas, pupils from Starcross have been invited to the college for a series of classes to learn more about the French language and culture through games and songs with Ms Noble, one of our Modern Foreign Language teachers.

The final session on Wednesday 11th February was a chance for the children to celebrate their learning with parents and carers who were invited along to see and hear the children in action.  There were french songs, conversations and games and a very popular Crepe tasting session.
