It’s that time of year again, when our friends from Henvic, Brittany, arrive at school to fill our day and evening with Breton music, dancing and food. This is all courtesy of our friends at the Starcross Twinning Association, and we are delighted to be welcoming them once again.
In the morning, the older children will take it in turns to sample traditional Breton dancing, and then after school, every child will be able to purchase an authentic Crepe from the school hall, hand made, and with a choice of sweet or savoury fillings.
In the evening, the hall will be full of revellers enjoying live music and dance, as well as a selection of traditional Breton dishes.
Tickets are currently on sale via Kate Manley tucker, who can be contacted on 01626 890718.
We are very excited about what will be a terrific day, and long may this tradition continue. This has been running since 2009, and each year keeps getting better and better!
