Pupils at Starcross Primary raised a whopping £280 for the British Heart Foundation with a day of sponsored skipping.
All the classes took part in a range of different skipping activities including skipping relays and a challenge to see how many skips they could do in one minute.
The event was planned and organised by the school’s Bronze Young Ambassadors; a group of Year 5 and 6 children who work to lead and promote sports and PE within the school.
The day was a great success and the children thoroughly enjoyed it. A big thank you to all the parents and families who sponsored the children.
