Scientists in Kittewakes!

Posted on

In Kittewakes this morning there was some investigation going on.

All the Scientists were finding out about the properties of paper. They were using their sense of touch and sight to find out whether all paper was the same or not. They also used their adjectives to describe the paper e.g. shiny, bendy, hard, soft etc.

Some of the children were using magnifying glasses to see if they could spot the fibres that make paper. Others were investigating whether any types of paper were waterproof. Some tried to make their paper stronger by twisting it and almost making string!

Well done Kittewakes!
