We were happy to see so many parents at the parents’ evening on the 22nd March. As part of our commitment to keeping parents and carers as well informed as possible, the teachers welcomed lots of families into the classroom to share work, discuss attainment and progress, and chat about general improvements and attitudes. This has been coupled with the more frequent reports that are now coming out to families, and the feedback generally has been incredibly positive, with more and more parents saying that they feel better positioned to know how to help their children further, and also better positioned to know more about the latest version of the curriculum and its demands.
There will be a second night on the 23rd, and tonight we will be displaying a sign-up sheet for any parents interested in joining our PTFA. They contribute massively to the school funds, and all proceeds go towards resources and activities for the children.
You may also find school governors around on the 23rd, who will be willing to answer any questions you have about the direction of the school, or indeed about becoming a governor yourself.
