We were so very happy yesterday to watch the whole school enjoy the wonderful Christmas lunch provided by Clare and Emma in the kitchen.
It has always been a time of tradition, with the children taking time to make their wonderful hats in the morning, and then to come in during a slightly extended lunch break to enjoy either the traditional or vegetarian lunch with all the trimmings, or their packed lunch if they preferred it.
With Christmas crackers provided by the Royal British Legion (many thanks as usual), the children ate and laughed their way through lunch and the play time that followed, fueled by the lovely food and awful jokes form the crackers. As you can see from the photos, everyone got into the spirit of things, and it was just another reminder of the lovely ethos of the school, and the atmosphere that exists here. What a lovely way to celebrate!
