On Tuesday 4th July, the Curlews went to Stover Country Park.
We went on a habitat walk, where we used our senses. We listened for sounds and used mirrors to look up above us. We used our sense of touch to find things from the natural environment that were described by certain words, and we collected as many different coloured things as we could find.
We found out about different habitats around the area, such as the marsh, the lake and the coniferous and deciduous woodland. Later, we went pond dipping and used pictures to identify the creatures we found.
We had a great time, and enjoyed our day!
