A huge vote of thanks to the parents who came to our coffee afternoon on the 21st March. Claire was very happy to answer any kitchen-related questions for parents, and had brought along some lovely cake for parents to try. Needless to say it went down very well!

The next coffee afternoon will be held on Thursday, 14th April, where ISS, our school meals provider, will lay on even more goodies for parents to try whilst enjoying a cup of coffee, tea and some light refreshments. Mr. Ireland will have some further information on future priorities for the school as well.

One parent said “It was a good opportunity to talk with the catering staff about school meals and raise issues with Mr. Ireland. I think parents should embrace the opportunity. PTFA and governor representatives were also available.”

Another said “Lovely cake! disappointed with the low number of people this time. This is a real opportunity for people to come and talk, and they didn’t.”

We agree with this parent; it really is a lovely opportunity.

See you there at the next one!

Mr. I
