Cockwood and Starcross Schools sing carols at Sainsburys!

Posted on

On Thursday, Cockwood and Starcross Primary Schools were invited to sing Christmas Carols at Sainsburys Store, in Dawlish.

The children sang a collection of 10 traditional Christmas songs which went down vey well with the growing audience of shoppers and parents.

Toby Hawkins from Cockwood School, accompanied most  of the songs on his flute beautifully!

The children sounded lovely and embraced the occasion with much enthusiasm.

Little Donkey, We three Kings and We wish you a Merry Christmas were some of the highlights. However, it could be argued that actually Santa and the Christmas treats given to the children, were more exciting!!

Here are just a few brief clips.

Well done  to everyone  involved in making this happen, to Sainsburys for inviting us and Ian Birdsey who saw to the technical side of staging this event!
