Children gear up for Pudsey Day!

Posted on

The children at Starcross School are delighted to announce that they will be doing their bit to help BBC Children In Need this year by organising lots of fun activities throughout the school day, FRIDAY 15th NOVEMBER.

After discussion with the school council, they were glad to report to the rest of the school that the following excellent activities would be taking place:

Dressing up – every child will be able to come to school in their pyjamas, onesie, funky bandana or hat, or simply in their own clothes for a small charge of 50p. There will be a fashion show at the end of the day, with teachers as judges. The most colourful class will win a small prize from Mr. Ireland.

Colouring Competition – the children can colour in a picture of Pudsey and return it to be judged by the School Council by Wednesday, 13th November. Cost – 20p

Cake Sale – Cakes can be brought in by the children and will be sold at break time for 50p

Face painting – PTFA will be painting faces throughout the day for 50p

Each parent has been given an envelope, in order that they can return their money in advance saying which activities they are paying for. These need to be returned by Thursday at the very latest to help the day run more smoothly.

We are all looking forward eagerly to what is going to be a fun, exciting and very worthwhile day, helping children who are not as fortunate as others.
