Body tension balances

Razorbill’s, with the support of Mr. Upston (St. Luke’s Science & Sports College) have been looking at body tension and how to maintain body tension when balancing with a partner or in a 3.

The children had a selection of balances they could choose from and initially coached each other on how to perform them remembering that body tension and presentation.

From this, the children chose the two they were most happy with and improved the presentation of them ensuring that toes were pointed, arms straight etc.

As you can see from the poses, the children did very well in the lesson.
