In P.E, we decided to use rhythmic gymnastics apparatus and make routines using either: a ball, ribbons, hoops or a scarf.
We started by watching some routines by gymnasts so that we could see the basic elements of gymnastics at the performance standard. The basic elements include: a spin, jump, balance, travel, different levels. These were the elements expected in the routines.
Over the weeks we gave each other feedback and tweaked the routines so they were ready for us to perform to each other. Here are just a few pictures of the children in action!
